The Coaches of Needham High School Wrestling are dedicated individuals from all walks of life who are united in their love of the sport. ​Coach Hargraves began his High School coaching career at Needham High School back in 2015, helping as an assistant coach for the Freshman Football team under Head Coach Tony DiCicco. He also helped that year as an assistant coach for the Varsity Wrestling team under Head Coach Dr. Robert Pritchett. In addition to coaching athletics at Needham for the next couple years, he also helped as an assistant coach for the Varsity Rugby team at Belmont High School under Head Coach Greg Bruce. Hargraves has also spent his years helping coach the youth in sports like football, rugby and wrestling throughout the city of Boston. He worked as an ambassador of mentoring with BYW. Hargraves was the Head Coach for the Girls Rugby team at Needham High School for three years before transitioning to coaching a local Boston Men's Rugby team, Charles River Rugby. For the last two years, Hargraves worked as an assistant wrestling coach under Head Coach Charles Danhof at Noble & Greenough in Dedham, MA. Coach Hargraves continues to work with athletes of all ages from youth to adults and is passionate about working with individuals with special needs. During his career in education he has been fortunate to work in over 50 schools and always focuses on helping students in every possible way. In college, Hargraves was a two time National Champion and All-American Collegiate rugby player in 15's and 7's while attending Davenport University under Head Coach Kruger Van Biljon. Coach Hargraves highest level of play was representing the USA Falcons in Glendale, CO back in 2013. The Michigan native received his Business Administration degree from Davenport University in 2013. He currently resides in Boston with his wife, Kaylee, who works for Mass General Brigham. For fun Coach Hargraves enjoys traveling and spending time visiting family and friends.
